Xaviersobased Wants to Collab With Sabrina Carpenter

Xaviersobased has worked with OsamaSon, Lil B, and Skrillex but he has his sights set a bit higher on the Hot 100.

In a new Hypebeast cover story, the New York rapper was asked whether he would consider chart-chasing with a feature from a pop star like Sabrina Carpenter. “Bro, I’ll knock out a whole album with her,” he said. “I’m down for all types of things, but it just has to feel right and be done in a certain way.”

It’s difficult to imagine what a Xav/Sab joint would sound like—Carpenter singing something desperately horny over blown-out beats? Xaviersobased rapping over disco-pop?—but we’re here for it.

For now, revisit Alphonse Pierre’s review of the very non-Sabrina-esque Xavier.
